We are surrounded by national forest and a small river flows from the mountains and into part of the village.

Taos is only 11 miles away and the Taos Ski Valley and Red River only about 30 minutes away. Taos Ski Valley reminds us of the Swiss/French/Austrian founders’ roots blended with the traditions and customs of the local Hispanic and Pueblo Indian cultures. Being the home of extreme skiing, this is just not a resort for experts, with many beginner and intermediate runs. The ski school is one of the nation’s best. It also has an excellent children’s day care and ski facility, both skiers and snowboarders are welcome.

Taos is home to more than twenty sites on the National Register of Historic Places. The Taos Pueblo has been occupied for nearly a millennium and is considered to be the oldest continuously inhabited community in the Unites States. The Taos Pueblo was added as an Unesco World Heritage Site in 1992 as one of the most significant historical cultural landmarks in the world;

There are many ways to explore art in Taos. Taos is an old art colony since 1899. Some of the artists’ studios have been preserved and may be viewed by visitors. Many of the historic sites are homes and studios of artists, including the Mabel Dodge Luhan House,Eanger Irving Couse House and Studio, Joseph Henry Sharp Studios, the Leon Gaspard House, the Couse/Sharp Historic Site and the Ernest Martin Hennings House. On Ledoux Street, just south of the Taos Plaza, are the Ernest L. Blumenschein House and Harwood House.

There are three Art Museums in Taos: Harwood Museum of Art, Taos Art Museum and Millicent Rogers Museum that provide art from the pueblo Native Americans, Taos Society of Artists and modern and contemporary artists of the Taos art colony. The town has numerous art galleries and there are several houses of the Taos Society of Artists.

5.0 "Rural, Remote Spot Cabin"

You're in a rural, fairly remote spot, among other cabins, on a working farm. If you're looking for peace, quiet and a night sky that will blow away any city dweller, this is it. Nothing fancy, but perfect if that's what you're after. Special mention for Meghan who made and delivered to the cabin our excellent breakfast ($20 per person) with ingredients from the farm. Talk about zero footprint - maybe 50 yards from farm to actual table. In cabin number 9 where we stayed, it helps if you're good at making a fire in a wood stove - there is a conventional heater in the bedroom and the heat seeps through to the living room, but to get really warm you want to use the wood stove. The shower is tiny, but again: You're not here for a fancy city apartment. You're here to be in rural New Mexico, with farm cats that will welcome you on your first night by coming to your door, meowing a bit, and then going on their evening rounds. Would love to stay there again.

5.0 "Very Cozy stay"

We had such a lovely stay! The energy of rejuvenation is strong here and Sia and Eric have been so thoughtful in connecting guests to the outdoors, their farm, and the history of this beautiful area. The pond casita was absolutely perfect for the three of us (our 8 year old son joined) and our pups. We enjoyed the wood stove and the kitchen, where we made plenty of food, as it was Thanksgiving weekend when we stayed. Any questions were answered quickly and the cabin had everything we needed for a very cozy stay. We will definitely be back!

5.0 "Great Long Weekend"

My wife and 2 sons enjoyed a great long weekend playing in the snow and exploring the charms of Taos. King size bed was plush and comfortable, and the fold out bed, comfortable enough for the kiddos, 14 and 11, when fully assembled with the foam mattress. Location is a bit secluded from the main road and has a small village feel with 10 or so rooms available on the property within a 100yd radius or so. This location is on a dirt road that was easy to traverse and the parking was adequate. Coin op laundry is available as well as a cedar soaking tub that was perfect after a long day of walking and playing in the snow. The casita was warm enough in the bedroom but a bit cooler in the kitchen/living area. The wood stoves created a cheery atmosphere providing a great chore that warmed everyone twice over. We actually wound up turning the bedroom heater off both nights. We enjoyed meeting the caretaker Meghan, and her pups. She introduced us to the animals in the farm including, chickens, alpacas, a ewe and 8 day old lamb, dwarf goats, a donkey and a few cats. The next two morning we ate fresh eggs from the farm fried in Irish butter purchased at the closest market in Arroyo Seco a few minutes drive. It was a great rustic experience and we look forward to coming back in the summer.

5.0 "A Historic Cabin"

Cute, cozy, rustic, cabin nestled well away from the small highway. It is a historic cabin, so we had to work a bit stay warm in the winter (cutting wood, making fires in woodstoves) but it surely was all part of the charm. I never met the host, but it def was not necessary. They had thorough and clear instructions printed for all of the logistics, and they were very responsive through DM. Would certainly come back.

1.0 "Not a good place for winter"

Stayed during the winter in below freezing temps. Their heater did not work. It only put out cold air making it worse inside. A wooden stove was available but it was in a separate room from the bedroom and they only provided 2 logs with a couple of matches. They should’ve mentioned to bring a sleeping bag rated for freezing temps. We got there after dark and ended up leaving 2 hrs later after the pond casita would not warm up at all. On top of that they ignored when trying to reach out to them after the fact. I’m sure it’s just fine during the spring and summer months. Not much privacy either because their other cabins are all right next to each other. Enjoy.

4.6 "Nice Secluded Place"

If you are on your way out of Taos and want a nice, secluded place with animals around you, this place is perfect. The individual houses on the property and quiet and comfortable. The night sky was amazing and perfectly clear when we arrived and you could see the Milky Way with your naked eye! We stayed in Pond Casita after tent camping in NM so it was super nice to get a shower and a bed in a place that was all to ourselves. The shower was a little difficult to get hot but once the first person figured it out, everyone else got a nice warm shower. The kitchen was full of everything we needed to make our own coffee/breakfast and do our dishes from our travels. There was no TV but it probably says it in the listing. We were able to connect to wifi and catch up on our shows from our phones. Everyone we met on the property the next morning after our stay were super friendly and helpful. There were quite a few cobwebs and bugs around the windows and I definitely saw a huge spider crawling around me when I was taking a shower. I don't know where it went so I am hoping and praying it did not tag along with me back home. Bring your own food as the nearest place to eat was a 25 min drive back to Taos so that wasn't fun at 11pm after driving all day to get here. Just stop on your way in when you see something and you'll be fine.

5.0 "Felt Like Family"

My family (husband and 3 years old) loved the place, Eric and Elizabeth were so loving and friendly, we felt like we had a family there. This stay was a bit of both work and vacation, the farm is gorgeous and conveniently located away from everything and close enough to everything you might need as well as some amazing nature gems. The cabin had everything you need and it was extra special to have our son go out and wonder around in the farm with the Chickens the Lamas the donkeys and the cats, the best thing was the night, with no lights outside you get to experience the beautiful starry nights. We will definitely be happy to stay at the farm again.

5.0 "Great Farm Location!"

Amazing stay! This is our second time staying at the farm and we will definitely be back! It's such a great location - close to the ski valley, close to town, but far enough out to feel not crowded, but also not isolated. SO great to stay with little ones as my son would go outside to visit the animals or walk around which is great when your little needs to just burn some energy you don't have to leave the property. The facilities are super clean and very comfy. Great family vacation spot.

5.0 "Recommended for nature lovers!"

My family rented the pond casita and the dorothy brett. The pond casita was my favorite of the two. We really loved the farm animals on site and the barn cat lead us around and visited our door. A very sweet cat that purrs when you hold her. The cabins are decorated cute and comfortable. We loved building fires in the wood stoves and looking at the stars at night. The cabin was clean and had an issue with toilet flushing tp in DBrett but not in Pond Casita, but overall neat place. Any issues we had got addressed. I recommend for anyone that looks to go off grid and enjoy nature to come here. This place is like a historical glamping community. My family and I loved it. We will return for sure.

5.0 "Unique Place!"

We stay here at least twice a year, trying different spaces ( they are all different) each time! A unique place...I call it funky yet comfortable. San Cristobel is beautiful and Sia and Eric and Jeff ( the manager) are attentive friendly folks. If you want 4 star or absolutely perfect accomodations go somewhere else! The Goji Berry Farm is a bit quirky. Which we really appreciate. Full kitchens for cooking in every space. New hot tubs and saunas are being built..can't wait to take advantage of those! Chickens, llama, goats and turkeys to converse with! Plus Chaco the sweetest dog ever to greet you....

5.0 "Unique and Historic Lodging"

Gogi Farm is a beautiful and wonderful place. The farm itself is in the countryside but close enough to Taos to make it as accessible as you need/want it to be. The cabins are historic (the Pond Cabin is over 100 years old), hand hewn, rustic, and charming; friendly dogs, two beautiful alpacas, and a bevy of fluffy chickens share the grounds; and the hosts are lovely - warm and friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, passionate about their farm and the surrounding area, and eager to share their knowledge with you. And Northern New Mexico is gorgeous - a perfect setting for this unique and off-the-beaten-path lodging. I loved it!

5.0 "Nice Retreat!"

Sia's cabins are such a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle. Although rustic, they provide all of the necessities and are so warm and cozy that you really want to just kick back and stay an extra few days. It's a bit of a trip into town, but that is a large part of the attraction. You can almost feel the spiritual echoes of the writers, poets and artists that have escaped to this enchanting retreat in the past. This was our second visit and certainly will not be our last.

5.0 "Awesome Place to Connect"

My wife, myself, and our 3 children had an awesome time here. The hosts were awesome and very hospitable to our children. They let them feed their chickens, as well as feed their baby goat. They also let them run around and play on their zipline, which was a huge enjoyment for my daughters. They also gave us fresh eggs for breakfast. The cabin was very rustic, and a little dated, but it was clean and comfortable. There was no cell reception, so that was awesome. Also there was no tv, which is also awesome. My family really enjoyed their time here and we were able to connect without all of the modern distractions that surround us today. When we return to NM, we will definitely be staying here again.

5.0 "Cozy and Peaceful"

We had a very cozy and peaceful experience at the Pond Casita. It was snowy and cold so we made a fire both evenings. One of the caretakers on the farm brought fresh eggs over in the morning. It was a very nice, private experience, even with people staying nearby. It has a very cute and equipped kitchen for cooking simply and staying in! Next time we'll venture out further into the 40 acres. Thank you!
