Baths: 1 Skip the ordinary with our historic Schlyer Place! Named after the gentleman who built this stone house, Schlyer Place has two bedrooms and one bathroom. Enjoy the Queen pillow top mattress (medium firmness), and a full size pillow top mattress with medium firmness. For extra guests, a queen sized firm pull out couch. Enjoy our 100% organic cotton sheets and Turkish cotton towels, new subway tile shower and tub and antique wash bowl sink. Fresh local coffee!
We offer complimentary high speed WIFI, ROKU tv, in apartment air conditioning and off street parking. We provide fresh local coffee, tea, creamer, and organic eggs fresh from our hobby farm and basic cooking supplies. Enjoy the antique newspapers found during renovations and local art!
We are currently working on the backyard landscaping (fire pit to come) but please enjoy the amazing wrap around front porch. We also have laundry facilities in the basement that guests may utilize. Please be aware that the laundry room is in a 120 year old basement. Although we have updated and renovated the home, some old home characteristics are still present.

QUIRKS OF THIS APARTMENT :
-This house was built in 1893. Although we have a modern kitchen and bathroom, we’ve taken care to restore it back to 1893. There are antiques and the floor creaks.
-There is another apartment above you with historic wood floors. Expect walking noises and murmuring. If you are a light sleeper, each bedroom is equipped with a white noise machine that has various tones and sounds to drown out noises above.
-Spills and puddles of water must be cleaned up promptly including the bathroom. This will help preserve our floors for years to come.
-We are a super safe college town. However, for piece of mind, each driveway parking spot has a motion detection camera.
CHECK OUT REQUIREMENTS
– Guests must clean after themselves in the kitchen, strip beds, and reset AC/heat before check out.
PETS
-PETS will be considered on a CASE BY CASE BASIS. There will be an added $30 a night fee, per pet per night, if we accept your pet request.Please inquire about your pet before booking.

MUST clean up after pet in yard
Any extra cleaning/damage caused by your pet, you may be subjected to additional fees
