We stopped overnight in this cabin and absolutely loved it. The property is delightfully quirky, the cabin was immaculate, and the personable volunteers took great care in providing firewood and directions. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and having a fire in the wood stove gave us the feeling we were camping. Also enjoyed the assortment of animals that call the place home.

What a restorative location on a quiet dirt road with a gorgeous view in every direction. We geeked out on the history of the place, made it into Taos in 20 minutes when we wanted to, and slept so soundly in the stillness. Seeing the farm animals really made it special.
