Cozy and quiet

This was my second time staying in these cabins, and I absolutely loved it! They are cozy and quiet. It’s also nice to stay outside of Taos, especially during busy seasons.

Well maintained

I liked the cabin for a short weekend. It was pretty well maintained. The unit was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a little kitchenette perfect for light meals. The definite draw for me was the farm and the alpacas. The grounds were lovely, wild with pretty flowers and grasses, cozy rocking chairs, hammocks, a neat little chapel, fire pit, and a hot tub. The cabins are close together, so not quite as isolated as I would have liked, but it worked out. The hosts were fantastic, and came out in person to answer a question I asked over the messages feature in the app. They were super friendly and made us feel right at home. All that said, I probably wouldn’t have chosen this cabin for a stay much longer than a couple nights. The walls were thin (we could hear our neighbors talking) and the window stuck, and unfortunately the water temperature and pressure were very inconsistent, making showers a bit stressful. There’s also no AC, which was okay because the cabin stayed relatively cool, but that’s a feature that would be nice to have. This is a bit further outside of town than you’ll want to stay if you’re planning on spending a lot of time in Taos. But sometimes staying on the outskirts of town is nice because it’s more homey. (And less expensive.) It was not perfect, but there was a lot I liked about it and the value was great.

Beautiful and quiet space

If you’re looking for a beautiful and quiet space, this is it! The farm is a treat and the staff are super friendly. Our cabin (D.H. Lawrence’s) was small and charming with everything we needed to be self-sufficient for a few days.
